Tempus Fugit

Crepuscular nuance rides
narrow gauge; consumptive
curse of vagrant verse
leaves core scraped
and roots raked.

Quotidian drags out grey
doldrum days, till tempus
flees along the breeze.
Chronophage;
soothe, assuage.

    Deep! I love the choice of worded used to write such a unique piece!

  2. You never fail to inspire me with your poetry, I just love your way be it simple or deep…just beautiful. ‘flees along the breeze’ works so nicely here, I can nearly feel the wind brushing past my cheek.
